Emily Zhang brings a unique “Eastern lens” to the SCG community. Originally from Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, China, Emily lives and works in the capital city, Beijing. With her master’s and bachelor’s degrees in English Translation and Interpreting, supplemented by undergraduate studies in Journalism, she is a keen observer who shares thoughtful reflections on culture, health, and our shared society.

Emily’s experience includes studying abroad in the United Kingdom, and, more recently lecturing at Capital Medical University, a leading medical institution in Beijing. 

Emily spends considerable time outside the classroom exploring our world, recently visiting Italy, Spain, Japan, and France. Through her SCG content contributions, Emily seeks to share fresh, youthful Eastern observations and perspectives, offering a bridge between cultures. Emily is recently married and excited to join SCG’s content contributions team.
